We would like to express our appreciation to En Husin Mamed, Pn. Najatul Jihan Sh. Ahmad, Pn. Rohani Rasid and Pn. Zarinah Mhd Ismail for their valuable K-Sharing session “Effective Negotiation Skills” for the benefit of staff in the organization on 2nd March 2010. Based on the KM Chat Value Statement Analysis, the topic has been rated as interesting and relevant to their daily work. The sharing session has improved the knowledge as negotiation skills.
En Husin Mamed also mentioned that negotiation is an important aspect for all staff in the organization since we need to deal with clients. Having gone through the session, staffs now know the right skills while negotiating and the correct way to communicate with others.
Thanks to En Husin Mamed, Pn. Najatul Jihan Sh. Ahmad, Pn. Rohani Rasid and Pn. Zarinah Mhd Ismail for their knowledge shared that will benefit all staff at our company and thanks also to all members who attend the sharing session.

On 25 February 2010, Pn Rohani Rasid (HCME), Pn. Zarinah Ismail (HCME), En. Husin Mamed(KPS-HCM) and Najatul Jehan Bt. Sh Ahmad (KPS-HCM) held a discussion regarding on the course “Effective Negotiation Skills“ with they attended recently. As planned, they will have a K-Sharing session on 2 March 2010. On 10 and 11 February Pn Rohani Rasid, Pn. Zarinah Ismail, En. Husin Mamed and Najatul Jehan Bt. Sh Ahmad attended the course “Effective Negotiation Skills“. The training session was lead by En. Abdul Hassan B. Ibrahim from SETC Management. The training was held at Grand Continental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Negotation Skills is one of the Competencies for ACOP’s. Let’s begin with a definition of negotiation, the first part in understanding how to be a more effective negotiator, to manage conflict, and to get what you want.

Admin COP (ACOP’s) held its second K-Solution meeting on 15 January 2010 at HCM Conference Room in Kuala Lumpur. Representatives from each business unit- Roadcare, HCME and KPS-HCM- attended the meeting, together with COP advisor, Mr. Chia Kwok Kin and facilitator En Mohd Azizul Idrus.
In that meeting, it was decided to focus on certain competencies such as Procurement, Motor Vehicles, Regulatory Bodies/ Local Government/ Negotiation skill, and Petty Cash Management. The first training for ACOP’s is Effective Negotiation Skills on 10th – 11th February 2010. 2 representatives from each business will attend this course. The knowledge that they gained will be share among COP members.
